For those of you who are ARRL members, there is a new benefit that comes with the membership for no extra charge: access online to the four ARRL magazines, not just QST.   You can still subscribe to the printed versions, but you no longer have to do that to read the content of these publications.

QEX is planning to carry a series of essays by Eric Nichols, KL7AJ, featuring the content that one would get in a college course on electrical engineering.   You can see the proposed contents of the 17 essays on pages 27 and 28 of the July/August, 2020 issue of QEX. This is for radio amateurs who have a non-technical background and who would like to get a bit more involved in the theory of electronics and radio.   Eric writes that the essays will put an emphasis on constructing experiments, so it won't all be theory.

Maynard
