: Lambeau Field
Now this is absolutely wonderful . . ...

Those who attended the game said it was extremely emotional to see the entire bowl of the stadium turn red, white and blue. It took 90 workers two weeks to get all of the colored pages mounted under each seat. Each piece of card board had eye slits in it so the fans could hold up the colored sheet and watch the game through the eye slits.

Lambeau  Field

This is what ESPN failed to show you Monday night, 11/14/2011.
Apparently, they thought their commercials were more important than showing this scene for about 5 seconds.

Forward this to as many people as you can so that they can see this incredible
display!!!

Hi all, John in Grass Valley is going to take care of this alignment!  David and Dave, thanks for the referral and phone#.  NO6NO, I did look at the reviews of that guy you mentioned on e-ham.  He has a 5 out of 5 rating so obviously he's a good one also.
Again, I'm avoiding shipping here.
Thanks to all!

Thank you to everyone that replied.  I'm trying to avoid shipping if possible.  I talked to a guy at the swap the other day.  He had sent an Icom to Seattle which cost him close to 100 bux so if I can avoid that expense it would be nice.

He also does Yaesu, but I don't know about other brands.  Just do a Google search for Icom Repair Kuni to find him

Hi George --

Thanks. Did make a contact on 40. The operator for W6BB was a bit confused with the usage of the antennas aboard Iowa, thinking that the 35-ft whips were receive antennas v. the transmitter antennas that they were (form this old comm ET). He had his radio connecting to both of the whips on the signal bridge. He complained of an S9 noise floor and was having onehelluva time copying anyone. Dennis had a good contact with him, his inverted V getting enuf signal to Richmond to overcome the noise over there.

I had forgotten that it was the Iowa that had one of it's turrets blow up. Most interesting historical read:

Typical Navy (and military) cluster f*ck getting guys killed!

Jim, I can use either the 1 5/8 inch or the 2 3/8 chain link fence posts.  I would like a piece of each.  They only need to be a couple feet long at the most.
Yes I would like to come take a look at what you have.  I can't come tomorrow (Sunday) but maybe next week after work.
I do not have internet at home (I'm at the local coffee house now) but I'm sure I can get you on the radio.

The 4 or 5 guys are to take care of guy wires, and cranking up once the antenna is on the tower.  I still need to find a mast. Anyone have a chain link fence post they don't want?  That's what I've used B4 just don't have one now.

Okay, so I assume the "4 or 5 guys" it takes is to put the antenna on the tower? When I see 4 or 5 guys required I just assumed "heavy lifting" required. :-) Whatever, I'll be connecting up the router and getting everyone's laptop sync'd which will take about an hour too ... no heavy lifting required! I've just come through another 3 months of therapy on my back due to helping a vendor at one of our construction sites lift something. Sorry, but I must stick to the "brain lifting" at this point in my life.
