New HF Amp: 1w IN/100w OUT #QST

Dennis - WU6X

As seen on QSO Today Virtual Ham Radio EXPO. Assembled amps are around $60. Some kind of control is required, e.g. Arduino or other micro computer. A 100w antenna tuner is also in the works, which will come with the microprocessor control.

I have a Wilson cell phone booster. It requires a direct connection (Coaxial) to a cell phone— something few if any cell phones can provide so I don’t know how it can be easily used.
I also have an AT&T “personal” cell site that I used in Meadow Vista prior to installation of a new cell site in here. It worked really great. Depends on a good internet connection.

You are welcome to either or both.

I'm researching cell phone "signal boosters" (yeah, I know, they are actually repeaters). If you've got one either for your vehicle or for your RV, what mfg and model do you have and what experience have you had with it?

Recommend?

Stay away from it?

etc.

Thanks! Be safe, be well!

One of the contacts on 40m was a ham on a Xeigu g90, interesting SDR radio ... Lot's of potential for QRP, but you have to run the software on something ... downloads are available for Windows, Mac, Linux, RasberryPi and others.

Sending this out to see if anyone could help out Joe, KN6FH in Roseville with his computer password problem.

I only do Macs, so not much help.

Joe’s PC is broken so they just have the HP.  SO getting emails won’t work either his telephone is 916 765-3799.

I emailed Dennis, WU6X but Dennis and I have yet to talk.

Anyone think they could help Joe out?

Thanks,
Carl, WF6J
