Bob - Following up on our conversation yesterday afternoon, please add me to the Field Day volunteer roster. Most years I'm involved with WS100 so wanted to be involved this year since there isn't a conflict.

Yes, it was specific to the iPhone 7 which you showed interest in, and that's back when that model was introduced. Each model needs to be evaluated independently for compatibility.

Photographer friend Ronnie Johnson went to the launch of the SPace X vehicle.

Begin forwarded message:

I went to Titusville to watch the launch of SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket with Crew Dragon Capsule on a test mission to the International Space Station.  On board the capsule is a dummy astronaut named Ripley.  Ripley is wired with many monitors to collect data in preparation of human flight.

The launch was flawless at 02:49 AM this morning.  I was surprised with the attendance of onlookers.  US-1 was basically closed northbound.  It was literally a parking lot.

I was surprised the launch happened with all the lightning activity in the area.  But it was a beautiful, thrilling sight.

Thank you all so much for the responses and offers. Hello All,

Our Club will provide communications support for two events the weekend of May 4 and 5.

Saturday May 4 and Sunday May 5 is the CERA Enduro. This is a motorcycle competition in El Dorado National Forest east of Georgetown. We operate net control next to the event control center, with four stations set around the course. The stations are reached through dirt roads. This is a good event to operate your 2m gear in field conditions. Some volunteers elect to camp out the two days.

If interested in this event, please let me know if you want to volunteer for Saturday May 4, Sunday May 5, or both days. Please let me know if you need more information.

Sunday May 5 is the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Walk MS: Folsom event. This is a charity walk in downtown Folsom. We operate a 2m base station at net control next to the event control center, with three stations operating HTs around the course. This event takes only a few hours.

Please let me know if you are interested in this event, or need more information.
