Re: LED Lamp

WOW! good price, Richard. Thnx for the heads up. Are they "step dimmable" like a standard 3-way bulb or ...?

BTW: the standard size 60W equivalent (actual 9W consumption) bulbs from Costco have no RF noise that I can discern. SMUD is also subsidizing their cost at checkout so that they are about $2 each in a package of 3.

On 1/17/16 I was shopping at Home Depot and spotted a deal on a Philips slim style 40w dimmable LED light for $1.97 each.  Good price.  No rf noise.
I use them in my trouble lights (no heat) like an incandescent that will burn your hand or arm.  Also for desk lamps.

Wow, she puts my pathetic fist to shame.  Probably time for a New Year's resolution!

The call, VA3LZF, is apparently her father's.  Wonder if she has a license yet?

Hi,

As some of you know I've been learning CW. Well this morning, I accidentally found this YouTube video of a 10 year old demonstrating CW keys.

I'm just happy to see kids spending time with something other than video games and iPhones.

My good friend Norm-WA6VGE in Livermore has come up with a 6EW6 and is checking it before sending it up, so the need may be moot at this point. If you can find one, let us know. Norm is part of the Antique Radio Forum with good resources.
